COMFORT  l  PERFORMANCE  l  WELFARE  l  HEALTH

Regardless of whether your equine is a top competition horse, a pet or a field companion, the importance of good and regular dental checks is paramount for their comfort and good quality of life.

When equines masticate (chew), it causes the edges of their upper and lower cheek teeth to form sharp enamel edges. Left unaddressed, these sharp edges can cause severe ulcerations and even lacerations to the soft tissues (cheeks) and tongue. This may result in weight loss, loss of condition, a drop in performance, quidding and any other signs of discomfort.

Corrective dentistry is sometimes required to maintain a well-balanced mouth. These dental problems can be caused by confirmation, breed, missing teeth and any other dental alignments. With regular dental checks, I can correct and monitor their dental health and well-being.
